昨年秋ごろから英タブロイド紙などでまことしやかに囁かれている英キャサリン妃（37）とメーガン妃（37）の不仲説。

エリザベス女王がキャサリン妃よりメーガン妃を可愛がっているなどと報じられるなど、その噂は根強いものとなっています。
ヘンリー王子とメーガン妃が、ケンジントン宮殿からウィンザー城の敷地内にあるフロッグモア・コテージへと住居を移した際には、「ウィリアム王子&キャサリン妃VSヘンリー王子とメーガン妃」とカップルでの不仲説まで浮上し、ネガティブな報道が続いていました。
そして今月10日（現地時間）、ウィリアム王子とヘンリー王子がチャリティ・ポロマッチに出場。会場にはキャサリン妃とメーガン妃が子供達を連れて応援にかけつけ、両ファミリーが和やかに過ごす様子がキャッチ。メーガン妃が5月に誕生した長男アーチー君を抱っこしている姿もパパラッチされました。
しかし、そこで新たな事実が発覚したと「Mail online」が報じています。ジョージ王子（6）、シャーロット王女（4）、ルイ王子（1歳3か月）の3人はイトコにあたるアーチー君と初対面だったのだとか。
このことを不仲だからという見方もあるようです。
とはいえ、チャールズ皇太子とカミラ夫人もアーチー君に会ったのは、誕生してから数週間後なのだそう。ネット上では「新生児なのだから他の子供達と接触させないのは当たり前」との意見も。
何かと不仲に結び付けられるキャサリン妃とメーガン妃。まだまだ今度もいろいろ報じられることは間違いなさそうです。
This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. Their son, Archie, was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue.
