「この世界へようこそ、デイジー・ダヴ・ブルーム！ 親善大使の@KatyPerryとオーランド・ブルームの新しい喜びをご紹介できることを光栄に思います」というコメントとともに、ケイティが赤ちゃんの小さな手を握っている写真を投稿しました。
二人はまた、ユニセフを通じて、娘を迎えたことについての声明を発表。
「私たちは幸運な存在であり、誰もが私たちのように安心して出産を経験できるわけではないことを知っています。世界中のコミュニティにおいて、いまだに医療従事者が不足しており、11秒ごとに妊婦や新生児が死亡していますが、そのほとんどが予防可能な原因で死亡しています。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大以降、水、石鹸、ワクチン、病気を予防する薬などへのアクセスが不足しているため、より多くの新生児の命が危険にさらされています。新生児を持つ親として、これは心が痛むことです」と綴り、寄付のサイトを立ち上げたことを発表しました。
